Audi Q5: Hybrid 2012 For The Japanese Market

Audi could be introduced on the Japanese market a variant of its hybrid SUVs average "Q5" since 2012. The vehicle should be characterized by the presence of a gasoline engine (no doubt with turbo direct injection) supported by an electrical able to secure a small dose of extra power but at the same time an enormous amount of maximum torque bigger (exactly as seen on the A1 Sportback concept), ideal for a vehicle of this kind.

Most likely the gasoline unit chosen by German manufacturer will be the 4 cylinder 2.0 TFSI 211cv and 350NM, while the electric generator to provide power in the 200/250NM and about 30/40cv. The hybrid technology hidden behind the vehicle will be developed in collaboration with the Porsche and equipaggier other models of the two houses.
